Day 1: Horrible, muddy, rainy weather. No race pictures because I had to go out from under the tent to see the race well enough to get a decent picture and I wasn't about to do that! We dyed most of our eggs Friday night (the ones in the blue cartons) but mom bought another dozen eggs and some more food coloring on Saturday (the pink carton). I make these sort of "collages" pretty often. Usually, I'm decorating a journal or something but as you can see (bottom row, in the middle) I sometimes just cut out letters from magazines to spell things out. Anyway, I just decorated another journal (bottom row, on the left) for my religous education class (hence the religous theme of the magazine cutouts) and now I've got collages on the brain.

After almost two months, it's finally finished. I'm officially in love with this now! The colors look great together and the pattern looks great. I'm not exactly syre why I haven't mentioned this on the blog yet, but three weeks ago, I joined Ravelry, an online knitting community. I've sort of fallen in love! I love that you can keep track of your projects in an easier way than just posting about themm all of the time.
